Trekking Cancellation Policies: Rescheduling, Refunds & Early Termination

Planning a trekking adventure? Understanding our trekking cancellation policies is crucial for a smooth experience. Below, you’ll find details on rescheduling, refunds, and what to expect if you need to end your trek early.

Trekking Cancellation Policies: What You Need to Know

We understand that flexibility is important, so our trekking cancellation policies are designed to accommodate changes, refunds, and early terminations fairly.

Flexible Rescheduling with Advance Notice

We understand plans can change. Therefore, we allow you to reschedule your trek at no extra charge, provided you give at least 6 weeks’ advance notice. This flexibility ensures your trekking dates suit your needs without penalties.

Note: Guests are responsible for any price increase between the original booking date and the new trek date. For more information on our tours and services, visit our Trekking Packages page.

Deposit Refunds and Payment Policies

  • All booking deposits are 100% refundable within 30 days from the booking date.
  • After 30 days, deposits become non-refundable due to advance hotel and tour bookings.
  • Additional payments beyond the deposit may be refundable depending on your specific trekking package.

To protect your investment, we recommend purchasing travel insurance that covers trip interruptions or cancellations caused by unexpected events.

Cancellation Due to Unforeseen Events

In cases of natural disasters, civil unrest, epidemics, airport closures, or travel advisories, a trek may be canceled. We will work with you to reschedule at no extra cost, though our deposit refund policy still applies.

Early Termination of a Trek

Sometimes trekkers may finish early or stop the trek for health or personal reasons. Please note that no refunds are provided for unused trekking days because we are obligated to pay our guides and porters for their committed time.

Summary of Key Points:

  • Reschedule anytime with 6 weeks’ notice at no extra charge.
  • Deposits refundable within 30 days; non-refundable after.
  • Unforeseen event cancellations allow free rescheduling.
  • No refunds for early trek termination.
  • Consider travel insurance for added protection.
